A teacher at heart, Hannah took a professional pause from teaching 1st and 2nd graders to raise three children as a full-time mother and homemaker.
Hannah obtained two bachelors degrees, in Early Childhood Education and in Elementary Education, from Susquehanna University. During her eleven-year teaching career, she went on to earn two masters degrees in Literacy with a Reading Specialist certification and in Educational Development & Strategies, from Wilkes University.
In 2017, Hannah turned her full attention to raising her two (at the time) children and quickly became aware of the need for fun and educational programming for young mothers in her community.
A seed was planted, and Rooted in Nature was born.
Managing the operations for Rooted in Nature, Joe's efforts enable Hannah's creativity to flourish and positively impact children and parents interested in outdoor learning.
Joe is a 2003 graduate of Gettysburg College where he earned bachelors degrees in Management and in Philosophy. He had the good fortune to marry Hannah in 2014. He
